The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze, aired Sunday night on CBS, and many network executives watched in anticipation to see which pre-written tweet and press release they would send out trumpeting their shows. 

Would Apple TV+ be able to brag about its mind-scrambling drama Severance and Hollywood send-up The Studio? Might HBO Max yell at the internet about how many trophies The Pitt, The White Lotus, and The Penguin won? Could FX finally say, "See, we TOLD you The Bear was a comedy!" Or maybe Netflix would throw out a few memes about its juggernaut limited series Adolescence? Many say that The Emmys are television's biggest night, but let's not forget about PR reps and social media interns!
